Feedback Request: Going Paperless

Solano County Transit (SolTrans) is continuing to keep up with technological advances and proposing to move to all digital bus fare payments. SolTrans is proposing to go paperless and eliminate all paper fare passes to improve the rider experience.

Press Release: SolTrans August 2023 Service Changes

Solano County, CA - Solano County Transit (SolTrans) will implement a service change on Sunday, August 6, 2023. The service change supports the SolTransBoard Approved Service Realignment recommendations affecting Local Routes and Solano-Express Lines.Local routes will leave the Vallejo Transit Center in Downtown Vallejo to the end of their lines and go out of service back to the operations and maintenance facility.

Press Release: SolTrans Awarded $12.5 Million for Electric Bus Fleet and Charging Infrastructure Expansion

Solano County Transit (SolTrans), a leading public transportation agency serving Solano County is proud to announce that it has been awarded a substantial grant of $12.5 million for the procurement of 14 electric local buses, along with the installation of 11 plug-in chargers and 3 inductive chargers. The grant, provided by Federal Transit Administration through the“Bus and Bus Facilities” grant, will enable SolTrans to further enhance its commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly transportation solutions.

On Thursday, May 18th at the SolTrans Board of Directors meeting, the SolTrans Board approved the following Service Realignment proposals:Local Routes- local routes will leave the Vallejo Transit Center in Downtown Vallejo to the end of the line and go out of service back to the operations and maintenance facility.

Solano County, CA – On Thursday, April 20, 2023, the Solano County Transit (SolTrans) Board of Directors opened public comment for the Service Realignment Proposals. The proposed changes affect Local service and the SolanoExpress Lines (Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, and Route 82).

SolTrans is requesting public comment on the Service Realignment Proposals.Public comment is open from April 20- May 18, 2023.To comment on the proposed route and service changes fill out the survey below. SolTrans staff will also be hosting outreach community events to gather public comment.
