NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:  NOTICE IS GIVEN that sealed proposals are requested by Solano County Transit, (SolTrans), a joint powers authority, for(“SolTrans”) serving the residents of the Cities of Vallejo andBenicia, California, for “Armored Transport, Secure Mobile Vault & Currency ProcessingServices”.

DESCRIPTION:    

Solano County Transit is seeking to award a contract for Armored Transport, Secure MobileVault & Currency Processing Services to a highly qualified firm capable of providing turnkey services to meet SolTrans’ cash handling and reporting needs. The services required would include secure armored vehicle service to pick up cash bags and prepared deposits, as well as to pick up SolTrans’ mobile vault bins, and under security and video surveillance open and verify currency and coin proceeds. The service provider will prepare the cash proceeds for deposit intoSolTrans’ designated bank as well as report to SolTrans all currency and coin extracted and deposited.
