2020-RFP-01 Computer Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) Systems

SolTrans is requesting proposals from qualified technology firms for the provision of services, software and equipment related to CAD/AVL Systems. The resulting contract will be for a five-year term from the effective date with two one-year terms at the option of SolTrans.

The general overview of the scope of work to be provided under this RFP are:

CORE COMPONENTS: 

• Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automated Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) hardware (Mobile Data Terminal and Vehicle Logic Unit) along with associated software features defined below, including Automated Voice Annunciation (AVA) 
• Interior digital signage  
• Real-time and historical APIs 
• Headsign replacement or integration
• Passenger information digital signage hardware and software (Rev. 11/3/20)

 OPTIONAL COMPONENTS: 

• Automated Passenger Counter (APC) hardware and software 
• Service alerts publishing software 
• Reporting software
• Maintenance and asset management software 
• Temporary assistance & long-term outsourcing
