2022-RFP-03 Installation of Real-Time Interchange Signage System

Solano County Transit (SolTrans) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide services for the Installation of Real-time Interchange Signage System. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, insurance, materials and equipment specified in the Scope of Service section of the RFP.

The bulk of the work for this contract calls for the installation of real-time interchange signage system at SolTrans’ transit facilities. Real-time interchange signage system equipment will be provided by SolTrans.

Detailed specifications for each device along with network and power requirements is listed in the Scope of Work Section of the RFP. It will be the job of the successful Proposer to determine the construction materials and pathways required to design and deliver power and, in some instances, data cabling to each install location. Additionally, the successful Proposer will be required to provide mounting solutions for the digital signage (it may be a factory designed kit or custom fabricated).

There are three (3) locations where the Interchange System will be installed. All three locations are within the city of Vallejo. To support the installation of the signs, each site will require the installation of power, telecomm cabling, and other devices described in the Scope of Work Section of the RFP.

A detailed walkthrough at each site is scheduled for Thursday April 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., approximately 2 weeks in advance of the RFP due date. A Q&A period will be open to all bidders during that timeframe and will close on April 20^th, 12 days prior to the due date.

The resulting contract will be for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a one (1) year period from the date of contract execution. The contract may expire earlier upon successful completion and acceptance of the work. All work and pricing under the resulting contract shall be based on Contractor’s price proposal.
