Ride Free on Election Day

Free fares will be available to all riders on local fixed-route services and to all ADA-eligible passengers using SolTrans Paratransit. Paratransit reservations are required, and passengers should follow the standard reservation process to book travel for November 3.

“Whether riders are traveling to the polls, work, or the store, all SolTrans local fixed-route and Paratransit rides will be free on November 3,” said Beth Kranda, SolTrans Executive Director. “Transportation should not be a barrier to voting. We’re pleased to help our community reach the polls safely and conveniently, and we encourage everyone who is eligible to make their voice heard.”

Riders are encouraged to plan their trips in advance. For trip-planning assistance riders can use the SolTrans trip planner on the home page of SolTrans.org.
