Effective August 21-23, 2026

Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, August 21, Caltrans will temporarily close the I-80 Westbound Carquinez (Al Zampa) Bridge for its Deck Rehabilitation Project. Routes 60 & 82 will be affected as follows:

• Route 60 Southbound to El Cerrito del Norte BART will detour after Vallejo via I-780, I-680, and Highway 4. A revised Route 60 schedule for the weekend detour is available on our website and at the Vallejo Transit Center Ticket Office.
• The 9:30 p.m. Friday, 8-21 Route 82 Southbound departure to the San Francisco Ferry Building will detour via CA-37, US-101, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
• Bus stops will not be affected.
• Buses will return via I-80 East, which is open during the project. Riders continuing to Fairfield and Suisun may need to transfer to a Route 60 Northbound bus at the Vallejo Transit Center.

Please expect delays up to 45 minutes. Longer delays will be posted on SolTrans.org.
